Are they compatible with all sockets?
Are they compatible with all sockets?
Yes. LunaLight™ is designed for the standard Swiss and European socket. It is compatible with any socket in a home, a rental flat, or a holiday property. Simply plug it in like a phone charger.
How does it work exactly?
How does it work exactly?
You plug it into a wall socket and it stays in place. It has a light sensor that detects when the room starts to get dark: at nightfall, it switches on by itself. In the morning, when the light returns, it switches off by itself. It requires no app, no remote control, no setup. You don't touch a thing.
What tone of light does it emit?
What tone of light does it emit?
Warm light at 3000K. That's the same tone used in restaurants and hotels at night — the one that makes a room feel warm. Nothing cool-white or cold office-style light.
Does it get warm if left on all night?
Does it get warm if left on all night?
No. It consumes less than 5W, about the same as a Wi-Fi router. It can stay on for 8 hours straight without getting warm or burning out the bulb. LED technology generates very little heat — only light.
How much light do they provide? Is it enough to read by?
How much light do they provide? Is it enough to read by?
Yes, they provide enough light to read comfortably in bed or on the sofa, provided you are close to the lamp. It's a warm, direct light — not fluorescent. They are not designed to light up an entire room like a ceiling light: their role is to create an atmosphere and complement, not replace, a work lamp.
How long do they last? Will the bulb burn out?
How long do they last? Will the bulb burn out?
The LED bulb has a lifespan of up to 30,000 hours. If you leave it on for 10 hours a night, that's more than 8 years of continuous operation. There is no bulb to replace: everything is built in.
Can I switch it off if I don't want it on one day?
Can I switch it off if I don't want it on one day?
Of course. Even though the sensor switches it on and off automatically, it has a side button that also lets you switch it off completely. If you're away for a few days or simply don't want it on that evening, you can deactivate it with a simple gesture.
